About IPOPulse
One clean, fast page for every Indian IPO — so you don't need five tabs open on listing day.
What we track
- IPO facts from the RHP and exchange notices: price band, lot size, issue size, dates, registrar, lead managers, financials.
- Subscription figures published by NSE and BSE, category-wise and day-wise.
- Grey market premium, Kostak and Subject to Sauda from market sources — clearly labelled as unofficial, with the time of each update.
- Listing-day prices, so every IPO gets a final scorecard.
How our numbers work
- Est. listing = upper price band + GMP. Est. gain = GMP ÷ upper band.
- Pulse Score (0–100) = 55% GMP strength + 30% total subscription + 15% QIB subscription, each scaled to 0–1. A negative GMP caps the score. It's a sentiment summary, not a rating.
- GMP accuracy compares the last GMP before the listing date with the actual listing price. “Direction correct” means both were gains or both losses (or within 2 points).
IPOPulse Signal — how it is calculated
Every IPO gets two scores from 0 to 100, worked out by fixed rules from public numbers only:
- Listing score — grey market premium as % of the issue price (45 pts), GMP trend over the last days (10), total subscription (20), QIB demand (15) and NII demand (10). A negative GMP caps the score at 20.
- Long-term score — revenue growth (20), profit growth (15), net margin (10), return on equity (15), debt to equity (10), valuation — P/E against profit growth (15), promoter holding after the IPO (5) and how much of the issue is fresh money vs. offer for sale (10). Loss-making companies are capped at 35 and SME issues get −10 for higher risk and lower liquidity. It needs at least two years of financials.
Only the factors with data are counted. A score of 60+ is strong and below 35 is weak. The label then says which view the numbers support: Listing + Long term, Listing gain only, Long term, Neutral / mixed or Caution — weak numbers. Scores change automatically as GMP and subscription update.
The Signal is a mathematical summary, not investment advice or a recommendation to apply or not apply. It does not know about everything in the RHP (risks, litigation, sector outlook, peer valuations). IPOPulse is not registered with SEBI; always read the RHP and consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
Coverage
IPOPulse covers IPOs from October 2026 onwards (including issues that opened in late September and listed in October). IPOs that listed before 1 October 2026 are not included; every new IPO from here on is added as it is announced.
